Calvary Mount
Kalvari or Calvary Mount, one of the Idukki tourist places, is a mountain situated at a distance of 5 km from Idukki. The Kalyanathandu viewpoint on Calvary Mount offers stunning visuals of the serene waters of the reservoir between Kuravan and Kurathi Hills and the Idukki dam. The trekkers and travelers can take a break at the nearby Tea Factory that offers the finest tea.
Cheruthony Dam
The Cheruthoni Dam, located in Idukki District, Kerala, India, is a 138m tall concrete gravity dam. This dam was constructed in 1976 as part of the Idukki Hydroelectric Project along with two other dams Idukki and Kulamavu.
Idukki Dam
The Idukki Dam is a double curvature Arch dam constructed across the Periyar River in a narrow gorge between two granite hills locally known as Kuravan and Kurathi in Mariyapuram village in Idukki District in Kerala, India. At 168.91 metres, it is one of the highest arch dams in Asia.
Palkulamedu
Palkulamedu is a lesser known hill, situated about 12 km from Idukki. Besides enjoying sunrise and sunset from a height of 3,125 m above sea level, travellers can have amazing views of the Idukki Arch Dam .
Idukki Hill View Park
Located just about a kilometre from the Idukki city centre, the Hill View Park is set up approximately 350 feet from the Idukki dam. As the name suggests, Hill View Park is one such places in Idukki that offers spectacular views of the Cheruthoni and Idukki Dams. Besides being a famous tourist destination of Idukki, this park is also a great place to spot diverse wildlife in its belt natural habitat. Hill View Park also has a couple of recent adventure additions including ziplining.

It is very nice view point from the top of the hill. It is the area covered by small and big hills with lush green vegetation of different types . Viewing all these from top of any hill is really awesome.

Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak.
